The Audit Office provides excellent professional development opportunities. Ongoing formal and informal training complements on-the-job learning, along with coaching and support from your team.

Throughout the year, we work with you to set clear goals and continuously build on your knowledge and skills. You’ll regularly discuss career prospects and preferences with your manager, and track goals and achievements with our online performance management and development system.

Support to gain your professional qualification

For those completing professional accounting qualifications, we will support your studies by providing a mentor through CPA or CA, study and exam leave, and reimbursement of fees. We understand how gruelling work and study can be and will help you make the most of your time by delivering on-the-job experience and knowledge that directly supports your pursuit of a professional accounting qualification.

We also support relevant tertiary studies, including a wide array of postgraduate qualifications, with generous study leave and fee reimbursement schemes.

Your learning and development program offers:

  • all staff training on respectful workplace, workplace health and safety, code of conduct, cyber security, Aboriginal cultural competency awareness, and disability awareness
