Increasing population puts pressure on the public transport system leading to increased crowding. Long-term responses are to increase network capacity, but in the short-term transport agencies must work within existing constraints to manage crowding to ensure a safe, reliable and comfortable journey for passengers. This audit will look at how effectively transport agencies manage crowding at train stations.

Following our 2018 audit of detecting and responding to cyber security incidents, this audit will examine how effectively agencies identify and manage their cyber security risks. The NSW Government charges councils a waste levy to encourage recycling. The WestConnex project is a motorway project that will link the M4 and M5 motorways with 33km of new motorway tunnels in Sydney.
