According to the 2018 Auditor-General’s Report to Parliament on Health, the value of assets held by NSW Health increased from $18.6 billion at 30 June 2017 to $20.1 billion at 30 June 2018. Most of this increase is attributed to capital expenditure on new facilities, upgrades and redevelopments.
