Actions for WestConnex: Changes since 2014
The WestConnex project is a motorway project that will link the M4 and M5 motorways with 33km of new motorway tunnels in Sydney. The NSW Government faces the complex task of regulating new building development to ensure quality and safety, in the context of significant and rapid development in some areas of the State. The emergence of risks relating to flammable cladding, and serious structural defects are examples of the complex issues requiring regulation.
