Agencies submitted their financial statements earlier than last year and for the third year in a row there has been a reduction in the number of misstatements identified during audits.

NSW government agencies are not making sufficient use of purchasing cards and EFTs to pay for goods and services. Once they are employed, there are no formal checks on firefighters’ health and fitness during their career.
