The Audit Office undertakes financial and performance audits, as well as compliance reviews, of state-based government entities in New South Wales. 

The results of our state government financial statement audits are reported to Parliament in a cross-sector report focused on the internal controls and governance of the 40 largest agencies in the NSW public sector, along with a final report focusing on the outcomes from our audits.
