The immediate purpose of our financial audits is to provide an independent
opinion on the annual financial report prepared by each public sector
agency.
We also report to Parliament on issues relating to each of the agencies we
audit.
Eleven Volumes will be released in 2009.
Volume One 2009 (released February 2009) – commentary on our
audits of Health agencies with a financial year-end of 30 June.
Volume Two 2009 (released May 2009) - commentary on our audits
of agencies with a financial year-end between 1 October and 31 December.
These are mainly Universities and associated entities.
Volume Three 2009 (released October 2009) - commentary on our
audit of Energy agencies.
Volume Four 2009 (released October 2009) - commentary on our
audit of the Total State Sector Accounts.
Volume Five 2009 (released November 2009) - commentary on our
audits of Treasury & finance related agencies.
Volume Six 2009 (released November 2009) – commentary on
our audits of Human Services and Services, Technology & Administration
agencies.
The following reports for agencies with a financial year-end of 30 June are
in progress or planned:
Volume Seven 2009 (to be released November 2009) – commentary on
our audits of Environment, Climate Change & Water agencies.
Volume Eight 2009 (to be released December 2009) – commentary on
our audits of Justice & Attorney General, Police & Emergency Services
NSW and Premier & Cabinet agencies.

our audits of Education & Training and Communities NSW agencies.
Volume Ten 2009 (to be released December 2009) – commentary on
our audits of Transport & Infrastructure, Planning and Industry &
Investment agencies.
Volume Eleven 2009 (to be released December 2009) – commentary on
our audits of Health agencies.
